Your top 5 NBA POWER RANKINGS?nba draft prospects

1. Lakers

2. Celts

3. Spurs

4. Hornets

5. Suns

Added.

I'm not sure what you see in Tmac and the Rockets.. for the past 3 years they have been the laughing stock of the league.

Cavs and Bulls deal was pretty much worthless, glad to see Wallace on a team that can win though

Jason Kidd will turn out to be great for the Mavs, but its a power rank.. and i dont really think they have done anything special with him yet.

Suns are nothings still, if anything they lost talent. People have to learn that Shaq is just big. Sorry Marion that you had to go to such a pathetic team.

Your top 5 NBA POWER RANKINGS?nba 2k ,nba teams

Power rankings are about who have been the hottest team not the best team which are Lakers of course.

1.Rockets

2.Lakers

3.Jazz

4.Pistons

5.Spurs
Your top 5 is so bad. You're actually leaving the Pistons off a top 5 list?
i totally agree with you except the bulls. they might be good but not top 5, at least not yet
First of all, how the hell can you put Bulls in the top five, they suck and will continue sucking for years.

1. Lakers

2. Celtics

3. Spurs

4. Mavs(with the addition of Kidd they seem to be playing better)

5. Houston(everything just seems to be clicking)
If you want power rankings

1 Lakers

2 Suns

3 Celtics

4 Spurs

5 Hornets

This is a more realistic power rankings at this point.
1. Celtics

Lakers should be on top, and the Rockets should be in the top 5 somewhere too.

1.Lakers

2. Celtics

3.Rockets

4. Suns

5. Heat. JK probably Jazz
Pistons

Spurs

Lakers

Celtics

Houston

bubble teams would be Cleveland, Phoenix, and Jazz
1. Los Angeles Lakers

2. Detroit Pistons

3. Boston Celtics

4. San Antonio Spurs

5. New Orleans Hornets

Since Lakers acquired gasol, they have become the team to beat(9-1) without the presence of their young star bynum. plus Lakers have the second best supporting cast(next to detroit) and have guys like vujacic and radmonovic knocking down 3 pointers and farmer playing exceptionally well off the bench. imagine this, when bynum comes back to the line up. the Lakers will have a two 7 footers in the paint. even if they are double teamed, they have sharp shooters that are capable of knocking down shots and making great plays.

The reason why i put detroit above boston is because they were able to win over the phoenix suns(best offensive team in the league) but a 30 point margin. in addition, the celtics lost 3 of their last 4(nuggets, warriors, suns) and almost lose to portland.

Spurs are back on track with Tony Parker back in the lineup and with Ginobli playing exceptionally well.

Chris Paul has been the biggest factor why New Orleans have become one of the top 5 teams in the competitive western conference. despite their records in the west, paul and the hornets lack playoff experience, therefore will not be consider as a championship contender

**note... true the bulls are stacked with young talent, but there is no guaranteed if deng and gordon are gonna stay in chicago. plus the bulls still have a lot to learn before the team can become the top 5 power teams in the league
celtics

rockets
